If you're looking for Japanese anime merchandise, please come check us out! Animate Ikebukuro is the flagship store of the 90 Animate stores across Japan, which specialize in anime, comics and games.
Our first floor hosts a variety of food products such as candy (which would be perfect for souvenirs and gifts!) and also many magazines.
Our second to fourth floors are dedicated to comics, and on the fifth and sixth floors you'll find an amazing collection of character goods (many of which you can't buy anywhere but Animate Ikebukuro). Our seventh and eighth floors host an impressive quantity of anime CDs and DVDs (both recent anime and classics).
We are located by the entrance to Otome (Maiden) Road, in front of the Ikebukuro Sunshine City building. We look forward to welcoming you to Japan's largest anime shop.
